The latest acquisition of the Companyis a 1.5m MT per annum steel plant in Wales that was set up as an integrated producer of steel based on the EAF route with a downstream hot rolling mill. The entire complex, then Mir Steel, was shut for over 2 years, but since its re-birth as, the rolling mill operations have commenced using sourced slabs and plans are on the anvil to eventually revamp the steel melting shop and grow the rated capacities of the mill
The mill has its own dedicated port and warehouse facilities, which enable global connectivity to raw materials and finished products and also provide a value added platform to our distribution and stockholding business that complements the production capabilities
